Roll call at 5:30 A.M. Colin & I took a rickshaw to town. P'maritzburg called Maritzburg just a small town . Only about 10000 before the war. Twice that many refugees. No Street cars, full of Rickshaws. A lot of trees in through the town. The Streets very clean. Supper at the Horse Shoe. Very good for 2s.6d. Had to be in by 9 P.M.
