Dear Father,

I have already written to Mother and I have enclosed a few snaps. I have a couple of these so will send one for you yourself. It is not very good but it will give you some idea of as to what we look like over in England.
Everything is hustle around here now and they are giving the men leave to go home for the last time for some time. We expect to leave for front within three weeks. I have reason to believe it will be about Sept 27th.
Am feeling fine and will be very glad to get over to front and do something. The reports about Canadians are fine so far, so we have a reputation to keep up and we are going to try hard to do it.
Lots of love for all and self included.

Loving son
Wilbert
