Diary

In support lines all day. I was called to H.Q. at 4 PM and told to move Coy forward about a mile near Upton Wood at dusk. Sent Mr. Young and Sgt. Thompson ahead to reconnoitre and moved Coy off at 6 PM. Had good luck getting up without a casualty. Got most of Coy in a large dugout about 10 PM. I had to go to H.Q. after that.
