LETTER FROM MYLES McDONOUGH(FROM BELGIUM)

Miss Bridget McDonough received a letter, written on August 3rd from Belgium, from her brother, Gunner Myles McDonough. He says in part:

Got your letter O.K. and am glad to know that you are well. Received the pictures too. They are fine. I was talking to Lee. Mulvaney last night and he told me that Eustice Bowen was out here. He is not very far from me so I think I will go over to-morrow night to see him. I am sending you a broach in this letter. Let me know if you get it all right. I received your parcel and it was a good one. I think we will be home for Christmas all right. I must now close so good-bye. from MYLES
