My dear George
No letter this week so I am in hopes you are on the way home. Gordon is expected this week. Edie received her lace from Alex but the spoons haven't arrived yet. Eva & I had a nice time at Nora's last Thursday. I told you in my letter last Tuesday we were going to lunch. Tomorrow Eva expects us to 133 for lunch. She told me that Charlie had the Bagatelle Board ready waiting for you so I expect you will be having some good games, especially if Dan gets home too. We had quite a fall of snow last night so the ground is white again but it has been fine and bright all day & it looks as if it will soon be all gone again. We certainly have had a grand winter. I suppose Mabel told you her mother is going West - expects to go in May & stay until Oct. Quite a nice change for her. Lil thinks Gordon & Ruby will be married as soon as he gets back to Toronto then go West right away.

I'm afraid this is a very poor letter there is nothing to write about. Here's hoping soon to see your dear face.

With fondest love & many kisses
Your loving mother
