Dear Folks

Well I do hope this reaches you sometime around Xmas. We are still in the land of the dykes and are living in buildings as much as we can as it is wet and cool out. Could be a lot worse. At least it isn't as hot in the shelling line as it was the first couple of months. Hope everybody at home is well and happy I am cut down to regular size and feel very fit. The civvies here are very good to us and it is a wonder too. At least I wouldn't think we would appreciate two hundred soldiers quartered around our house and barn and the barns here are small and hooked right onto the house. The Best to everybody.
