My dearest Bill:

I hope you received my telegram. Even though we don't know each other very well, I can't tell you how much I wanted to say yes just as soon as I read it. We're both quite young, and when you get back we'll have to catch up on lost time, and really get to know each other before we make that important move. I don't want either of us to make a mistake darling, because we have to be together a long time.

I asked my mother about it, and she said that she thought I was old enough to make my own decision, but she thinks a lot of you.

How are Len & Vic? Your father was telling me that you have been moved to another O.F.U. station, and if that's true, then it's no wonder that you haven't received all of our letters, ‘cause you're never in one place long enough for them to catch up with you, So there....

Love Hilda
