My dear Bill:

Your father received your telegram, and because I hadn't heard from you for a long time, I thought you were probably on your way "over", so I'm taking a chance on the address you gave me. Everyone's fine, I miss your letters. Hope you'll write often from "over there".

Jessie went back to Winnipeg. I went down to the station and saw her off. She's going to write to me.

How's Len? Give him my regards, and tell him to watch out for those English gals.

Nothing new to tell you,

Will write a letter as soon as I hear from you.
