Drill at 6 A.M. 10 A.M. & 11:30 A.M. Afternoon sang National anthem and gave 3 cheers for Queen. Sighted a steamer to the west of us at 7 A.M. Read "A Valuable Life" Scotch dressed in kilts. 8 Regiments namely

Camerons & Lairark

Fire works after dark. Shower Bath. Robinson very sick. Dipper & Southern Cross both in sight. Both can be seen for a long distance on each side of equator.
