Dear Mr. McKay

I am writing to tell you that your son hhas been admitted into this hospital with a severe gun shot wound in his leg. He is on the seriously ill list but I hope will be better soon. I will let you know know how he is getting on. Everything possible is being done for him. & he is fairly comfortable.
