Dear Mother

Just a line to let you know that I am getting on well and hope you are the same. We have good weather here now. There was a great air raid on the city yesterday. About 20 Germans machines came over but did now do nearly so much damage as previous raids.

I was down to the D.M.S. on Thursday for a Branch and got 3 months in Canada so I will very likely be home in a 7 months time.

The news is scarce as usual so will close.
