Dear Sish:

I meant to write to you before but it somehow slipped my mind. I suppose you know by now where I am but in case you dont, I will enclose my address.

This is a great life. I am taking a signallers course and have to study pretty hard by I guess I can pass in it.

I have hope that we will be enroute to England before many weeks. In fact there is a chance we may go next Monday. The ships are here ready. But I don't think we will. I was up home last Sunday on a 24-hour pass and if nothing happens, I expect to go up again on the 1st of July.

I would like to see you before I got across (if I ever do,)which I sometimes doubt).

I have some photos being finished of me in uniform and mother is going to send you one. I'll give you some idea of what our daily routine is (in the signal corps, its different in the gun classes)

(over)

Well I must close you. Write soon.

Lovingly
Ludlow
