My dear Sister.

I received five letters from you today, most of them has been following me all over the country and they came today in a bunch. I expect to leave for Scotland on about the 12th I'm afraid I wont have enough time to get as far as home. I have got my ticket for Aberdeen, but when I get to Glasgow if the boat servise is suitable I might risk it, and if not I'm afraid its impossible. I'll only have 7 days on British soil so you see I'll have but little time to spare. I wish you could meet me in Glasgow but it's too much to ask you. I'll stop for a couple of days in Glasgow either on my way to Aberdeen or back. Had not from Alick lately and I consider him lucky for getting off so easy.

I'll draw to a close, I'll write you again from Glasgow or Aberdeen and with my best regard to each and all.

Your affect Brother.
E.
