Dear Mom, Dad & Art:

Well here I am on the high seas and just about through with the voyage.

I received you last letter on the Sat of that week at 5:00 and left for the boat right after I guess Con's would arrive there on the Mon as hers wouldn't be written till the evening of the same day you wrote yours. I was pleased to hear you were feeling better than you have done for a long time Mom, so keep it up. and may you soon be back to normal & stay there.

We have had quite a long trip this is the [censored] on the ocean & I think 2 more to go before we reach [censored] & then from there we go to the British Isles somewhere. & when I dont know we might be there a day & yet a fortnight never can tell.

We have had a fairly good trip, getting a bit on the boring side now tho'. have had fair weather a little rough sea not enough to upset anyone tho'

now. a good start for arriving Well as far as occupying ourselves we have divisions every morning at nine - prayers and then a run around the deck a few times, then we either read sleep or play cards or do some sun bathing on deck, we have only had about 3 good warm days so far. at night we have either sing songs or tombola (bingo) & last night we had a boxing match which wasn't too bad. and tonight a big concert on board which should be pretty good. Well there isn't a great deal more to say so will wind up with a hello to every body and will write as soon as I can again now with all my love.

Your loving son,
Jack
