Dearest old Fatty

Just a scribble to welcome the niece and hope you are both quite alright. Will you also thank Gre for several letters, Standards and splendid photos. I am afraid I've got fearfully bad at writing. I always hope Sadie tells you the contents of my letters. That is a splendid photo of Raymond and John. I hope you and he are not getting too weary with the everlasting toil. It must be hard work now, with Children. Gosh! Bertie had an unpleasant experience. I've never been runaway with and should think it a rotten sensation. I feel lazy about writing so just pump Sadie for all the news as I try to tell her all that goes on. This was just to let you and Gre know that though I don't often write I often think about you. I'm glad to get that photo of Raymond. He looks very well. With my very best love to you all, old dear.

Your loving brother
