Got in off picket about 8 A.M. About 4 miles from Gralinsted. Started for there. Country very hilly around this place. Only a few troops stationed here. Passed Big Mill at the mines just about a mile out. Got in here about 11:30 A.M. Bought supply of fresh bread and cake. Bread 1 doz. Loaves for 9s. Only 2 or 3 buildings here. See an armoured train at the station. Moved a little farther on and pitched camp. Water in a little stream running from a spring.
