My darling girl,

Your letter of 31st to hand OK; so sorry dear to hear you had the toothache, you must get them fixed when you come down to Winnipeg, & am delighted to learn you can come down this week, let me know at once what day you will be down, I phoned Mr.Fitzgerald this afternoon & they said to come anytime, but to let them know a day ahead, say Saturday & I'll try & arrange to be excused Church Parade so that I will spend Saturday night & all day Sunday with you, dont worry about the money part of it I'll fix you up alright when you come, I'll have another pay day before then. Nearly all the Battalion were inoculated today, so I guess there will be a lot of sick men & officers tomorrow, I was Capt of the Day so did not get done but will have it done tomorrow the doctor says one is alright 24 hours after. Intended going to the Andrews' yesterday, but Mr.Waller's brother & another Virden gentleman Mr.Biggar, who have come to the school here to qualify, called round in the afternoon, they had dinner in our Mess & we went to Holy Trinity Church at night it was packed & a very enjoyable service. Well darling will tell you all the news when you come down. Fondest love to the chicks & yourself love to the rest of the tribe.

Your loving hubby,

Jim
