My dear little daughter

I got your letter written on the 16th 2 days ago. So you are not going to Miss Jones's school, yes I think it is too far to walk for you. I hope you like the Gwernaffield School, it is a very old school isn't it, some dear friends of mine used to go to that school many years ago, it was at the time when a Mr Evans was schoolmaster there. Well darling am quite happy here, but will be very glad when I can get leave to see you all again.

Fondest love to Mama, Eric, Frank & yourself.

Your loving Dada
