Dearest Bro

I thought I would drop you a few lines as this is Sunday, and it is raining so it is a good day for to write. I haven’t recieved any mail from you in some time – but I suppose this is quite a busy period for you.

We are having rotten weather over here allright but still we are all getting on fine.

Recieved two letters from home to day and everyone is fine Also recieved one from Harold and he is well also.

Have you been over to see Win and Pete yet. I guess they are getting on allright. It will soon be time for you to be getting hooked up and then there won’t be many of us left who arent. But none for mine for some time anyway. I guess you knew C. Clairmont. He is married so they say at home. He sure must have some wife unless coming over here changed his ways any.

Are they very strong on the conscription idea up around there. We all have a vote over here and I guess there are some funny votes for half of them don’t know what they are doing it for.

I suppose you are going home for Christmas I wish I was there myself but hope we are all there next year.

Well Walter there isn’t much news over here so guess I had better close for now. Be sure and answer soon.

Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
From your Ever Loving Bro
Norman.
