Dear Ella:-

Here I am still at the rest station feeling fine but not eager to forsake my bed for a bunk in the dugout. The "doc" doesn't like the look of my tongue yet so I'm to remain on the sick list for awhile yet. We have had swell weather all along but I think it will rain today.

I've just come in from a game of croquet which we one hands down. I've had no mail forwarded to me yet from the battery so I don't know any news but I guess there must be quite a heap waiting for me as most of my mail arrives Thursdays or Fridays.

I sure am having a peach of a rest and expect to have the wind up to a horrible extent when I get back to the scrap.

Well, Ella, I'll can this now and have tea. Best of love to Nen and Dad. Write again and often.

Bev.
