Sergt. C. W. NUNN Writes.

Sergt, Nunn writes Colborne Express as follows:

Crowborough Camp, Sussex England,
December 11th, 1916.

I received papers O.K. and many thanks. There is a young chap who came with the last draft from Ottawa named Arthur Taylor. I think he worked for Mr. Willet Gould at one time. I hand him the Colborne papers to read. Have got settled down in operators' class. There are 70 or 80 of us. I met Captain Troop yesterday. He is taking the Officers' course which all have to do when they get over here. The 139th Machine Gun section is here, but, they are all strangers to me. Mr. Troop said none of the section belonged to Colborne. We moved here about November 22nd. It is about 40 miles west of Shorncliffe. It's a quiet place with lots of nice scenery and many beautiful homes; very hilly, and the town is supposed to be one of the highest points in England, being 800 feet above sea level. We have had frosty nights and it rains quite often.
