Sunday June 20. 1915

Dear Friend,

Sunday night again nothing new to tell you just as happy as ever but getting tired of this life. The more I see Canada the better [?] I will be. Dr Bencher has been killed but you will have seen that in the papers by this time + [?] from London that was reported killed is wounded but pretty bad. Well I hope you are all better again. I am afraid there wont be mutch of the London boys come back out of the Infantry the [?] is all right not hardly losing any in them. They call this Sunny France but we have had cold weather for the last few days like march weather at home but is turning warmer again. [?] [?] Popular Hill picnic. I hope Jean comes out all right if she is going to dance. Well Donalda I am getting pretty chummy with some of the people round here I have had green Onions + Green Peas and Lettuce + a few Strawberries but that dont come every day. I am looking for your letter about Monday they are getting more regular now get one every mon. now this is almost all I have to tell you this leaves me well hoping you are getting better and able to scold Jean + Marion a little.
