Dear Mother:-

I received three of your letters this week dated up to June 8th. This will not be a very long letter this time as I cannot settle down to write these days for some reason or other. During the past three weeks I have not been feeling up to much and but three days at a hospital but was of no benefit to me it is the stomach again but lasted longer than any time yet and still it is a long way from being up to date but still plug along just the same. I saw Mac in one other field hospitals on the way down to the one I went to and said he had not got word from Pats for a long time & had written him recently. If by chance Pats is ever called up tell him to try the A.S.C. & no other as that will be the place for him with that foot. I got the parcel with the cake OK and it sure was a dandy. I treated all the boys in my sub to it as it was just before I went to the hospital. Aunt Mabel sent me out some dope for it but does not seem to be of much benefit. I have no idea when I wrote the last letter be seems to me about three weeks at least. In future chance my address to No.2 Section in place of No. 3 but the rest is the same as always. Mail is coming very slow these days about two or three weeks apart. Well I have to quit as I have to go and feed up for the night.

Love to all

your loving son

Gordon
