My Dear Bill:

Well here goes again. I really don't know what to tell you. (excuse please) Nothing of importance has happened since my last letter. I'll do my best.

Jessie didn't go home last night (as she expected so) but is staying until Monday. I went over to Len's house today to see her. She asked me to write to her when she goes home.

Your pictures came the other day, and your father brought one in to me today. There really good. They look so natural.

I have started my new part time war work job, and I don't mind it at all. It passes the night anyway, so I think I'll keep it. Nothing new has happened at the "Morque," except that there seems to be more work to do every day. The dinner is next Wednesday night, so I suppose that day we'll work from 9a.m until about 10 or 11 p.m. Gee I'm getting sick of working, eating and sleeping. The same old routine is getting me down. I don't know whether I said that in my last letter, or not, but you can't expect me to remember everything I say. If I didn't tell you before I'll tell you now. I have a very poor memory.

Well all good things must come to an end, and I've run out of words. So until next time,

Goodnight, Love Hilda.
