Colin & Morris orderlies for the rest of the voyage. Sighted land about 9:30 A.M. Passed between Grand Canary on our left and another Island on our right. Light House on Canary Island. Could see a snow clad mountain peak above the clouds. Ocean very smooth but serf breaking 25 to 30 ft. high on the island. Saw some porpoises in distance. Washed some of Colin's and my own clothes. 3 P.M. sighted an island on our right. A Heavy mist around most of the island. Native barber around shaving boys for 3d. each. Don't exactly realize what I'm going through. It all seem like a dream. If I get home again it is then I will realize it.
