Dear Mother:

Just a line. As you will have heard before now we are into a scrap and of course are very busy. Wrote you a few lines after I came back from leave. Will write a long letter and describe my leave as soon as we get settled. We are going to move forward again in a few minutes. Move into a position for a few hours then move ahead. As you see the Y is right with us. Am getting on fine. I am in splendid shape for work after our leave and am enjoying the "fun" fine. Was out forward with Lawson yesterday. Had a very interesting trip. Got in at dark and went on the phone until one. Slept in till 8 this morning and certainly slept sound. Well, must ring off. Will drop a line again in a day or two.

Love to all, Harold
