My dear Mrs. Loney

I hardly know how to thank you for your extremely kind gifts. I was not expecting anything, and it quite took me by surprise. Jill & Stephen were delighted with the chocolate, and we shall enjoy the other things I can assure you. And we thank you very much indeed. In a letter I had from Mrs. Coppens about a week ago she said she was going in to see you, and that you were not very well. I sincerely hope you are better and quite yourself now. We are hoping Ted will pay us another visit soon. This is about the time he said he might have some leave.

We enjoyed his company very much during his last visit. With kind regards.

Yours very sincerely
F. Brown
