Dear Mom:

I think that it is about time that I wrote you another letter.

I was in the hospital for 10 days with a sore throat and I didn't enjoy it at all. I could hardly swallow anything for a few days not even milk it nearly choked me.

As yet I have not started my training but I think that I start on Monday.

It seems funny that everything seems to bother me but my arm which is fine, it is stronger now that it ever was.

There is a change in my address I am still in the same camp but not in the drivers anymore I am in the light ack ack. It is C Battery #4 Troop. Not Drivers Battery, any mail you sent to that address is alright I will get it.

I won't be driving any trucks now just firing the guns. The training is 2 months and should end about the middle of July. That is when my leave is due.

You mentioned the socks that gram knit me in a letter a while back. I can wear any color socks that I like so I can use them and all the others that I have so don't be too free with them but if you want to you can let Bob have the air force ones.

It is lunch time now so I am going to close now give my love to all.

Love
Ted
