Dear Mom & Dad:

Just droped in to the YMCA found an unoccupied table supplied with all the esentials for writing so though I would drop you a little line.

I wrote you last night and dated the letter the 7th it should have been the 6th.

A month or more ago you sent me a parcel which contained a little packet of noodles. I think it was the same one that you sent the pancake flour in. Well to get to the point I wonder if it is possible to get some more noodles. They are ideal for schemes. Easy to carry on a route march.

In the Bde. sports this year I came in third in the 100 yd dash and placed first in the standing broad jump. In Div. sports I washed up.

Well it is only noon time now and afternoon parade is about to start so will have to quit for now.

Lots of love
Boyley
