Dear Folks,
Just returned from leave yesterday and decided to write you a few lines. I wrote last week in Glasgow. I spend a very good leave and now I'm back here trying to get away for home as soon as I can. Some of the boys are taking another seven days leave but I've had enough in this country. I spent the first two days with Ivan then went to London for a day. Spent seven days in Glasgow came back, picked up Ivan and spent the last few days in London. Ivan is looking up Eubil and Charlie to-day and I'm going to meet them to-morrow afternoon.
I hope to be out of this Camp by Tues and should be on the boat by the week-end. The camp is full up I think we'll be waving out fast.
I haven't received any mail yet but at 11 AM I should know if there's any or not. I read Ivan's letters he had received from you. It took quite a while for my cards to get there. I think I sent three in all. I think two of them were worded the same. They were all free, that's why I sent them all.
I picked up a few souvenirs in Glasgow but things are hard to get without coupons. Well I think this will be all for now. Will write again soon. Love to all at home.
Your loving son,
Gerald
PS. Received your telegram to-day. Glad to hear from you all again. Will Write to-morrow.
