Dear Mother:-

This is only a short note to let you know I am O.K. It's a long time since I heard from you but I'm expecting mail some of these days so will probably get yours soon.

At present I'm taking a wireless course at the Corps Signal school. it is an O.K. place in a little French village. I'm getting on to the lingo pretty well now, too.

Are you going to stay in Mount Carmel this winter. You hadn't said in your last letter whether you were or not.

Madge is to stay at Columbia isn't she?

Wallace McKay has gone up the line. I don't what he went to, though. He was here at the school for a while.

My address will just be "Can. Field Artillery, B.E.F FRANCE" until I get attached to a unit. But will probably be here quite a while.

Will have to close now.

Lovingly
Ludlow
