there and a couple of other fellows that were worked out in Vancur. so they have been in Brandon quite a long time. I also saw a couple of other fellows who had just joined up. Bill Thompson, he was one of the Oak Bay Police. it sure was funny running into him as it was only 4 weeks ago I saw him in Victoria. So [?] has joined up I imagine he will be in the clerical end, its a wonder I didn't see him in Brandon thats if he went there. Boy was it ever hot around there over the week end. a nice wind but it was hotter than the day was. all we did was drink pop all day Sunday. I'll be having a 48 pass at the end of the month - this week end I have to fly on Sat & Sun. and Clear Lake opens up this week end. It is a lovely place only 40 miles from here

Well folks there doesn't seem to be any more words so I guess I shall have to close so good bye for now and hope every thing & every body will be O.K. and that you, Dad & Art will stay in good or better health & please give my love & say hellow to all.
