Well last night was another listening post job. The listening post has been moved farther out towards the German line so a closer watch may be kept on any of his possible nightly visits. All us older heads had new 87th fellows with us out there so as to give them an idea of what they are to do, for they will take this part of the trenches over from us when we go out tonight. There was a great old bombardment today from both sides but we are all living yet. Last night on listening post was no hinky dink either, but thank God I'm still alive.
