June 14th

Dear Mr. McKay

I am writing to tell you that your son Pte. McKay 46th Cdn is a patient in this Hospital suffering from a gun shot wound in his leg. He is a present on the seriously ill list but we hope will improve though we are somewhat anxious about him.

Everything possible is being done for him & I will let you know next mail how he is. When he is fit to travel he will be moved to England. Last night he slept fairly well & seems more comfortable today.

(P.P.) Yours Sincerely

J. Hills
