Dear Mrs Polson.

With great pleasure I write to tell you that your boy Arch J is making good progress, his wounds are many & bad, but the improvement in him is very great.

I was very pleased to see such an improvment. He is very bright & all things possible are being done for him. He has commenced to write to you, but finds it rather hard work with his left-hand.

Yours very truly

(Mrs) Annie E Paine
