April 21st, 1916

Dear William : - As you have been asking for a little letter for yourself. I shall endeavor to write you one. We are both well in health at present and getting better all the time, and pleased to know you are all well. I received your letter just yesterday afternoon, but there was no post – card in it as you say there was. I will send you that piece of French money as soon as I get the change, probl probably in the next letter, We shall welcome those Cascarets when they get here too. Be sure and go around with the hat and gather enough of money to buy me that safety razor. Everything is fine out here in the trenches. No more at present from your brother,
