Dear Betts; -

Well here it is Xmas Eve and as yet I haven't mailed you any present – but this time Squirt I have a pretty good excuse – I'm in the hospital. Now don't get excited I'm alright now – all I had was a cold. I came down to see the M.O. about a little cough medecine and he put me to bed (because I guess I also had a temperature) I think that was on Friday.

I'll be out tomorrow or Thursday for sure and back to work on Friday so I'm O.K. tell Mom not to worry.

I had Jack Brunt one of the guards send flowers & greetings to Mom & Doreen also Pat & Bruce. I picked them out then I sent him down town and he fixed everything up for me.

Here is one of the Xmas Cards I had my name put on – how you like?

Here is a little something that might come in handy after Xmas Squirt.

Hope you get everything you want & more besides

Loads of Love

Bill
