[written on a German P.O.W. Postcard, addressed to: “Mr Harry G. Gale”]
Rec’d your letter of the 24th of March today. Most delighted to hear from you. I suppose you will have finished farming by this time.
I have so very little of interest to write that it is very difficult, sometimes, to fill even a card.
I suppose summer is bringing its usual number of visitors to Youngs Cove but are not the young ladies on their vacations in need of partners? I do wish to be back but I think the time will not yet be long. I hope everyone is well at home
Lots of Love to all
