Miss Shand
Lena A. Davis

Dear Miss Shand. –

We came on board 11.30 this morning and we expect to sail at 4 p.m. I am enclosing the picture of the steamer which is much nicer than the old Corinthian. We are not crowded and have a porthole which means a whole lot:

There is a rumor that we are going to land at the Island of Lemnos. But I guess we will know when we get there and not till then. We are not at Tillbury docks twenty miles from London which are really London docks.

It is a lovely day and I hope it keeps very still for the next week or so.

Love to Miss Mac and Mrs Clare.
Lena A. Davis.
