My Dear Nert.,

Thank goodness it is much cooler to-day, and a cloudy night, last night, gave me the best night’s sleep I have had for some long time. It looks like a big night to-night tho.

I got a parcel away the other day with three collars, for you. I hope you have something you can wear them with. I thought they would be more useful than a scarf like I got for Mother and Mir. If you and Mir. ever wear veils, let me know, and I will send some later. They have beauties here, the kind that hang from the hat, with finished edges, but I was not sure you kids would wear them. This is a great country for lace etc.

Don’t suppose Rush would have any use for Clarence P. In fact imagine he will find it rather difficult getting anything now. Won’t they take him in the army? Suppose not. Did I tell you that Inez had met Wanda? I think I did. She also sees a good deal of Dick Greenwood (St. Catherines). I believe he was married some years ago, but his wife left him and has trained for a nurse.

What are you going to do with the five hundred? You had better stick most of it away and in a couple of years you and mir. and I can take a little holiday. If I am still over here, you two can come over and see me, what!

About those books of films, I think there was a book partly full of V.P.K. and two – more or less full of 2 ¼ x 2 ¼. I think the last of these I sent in one of the boxes from Eastbourne, and was only partly full. The other 2 ¼ x 2 ¼ I sent earlier from Eastb. and it was full. I am not positive that there were three, but think so. You never mentioned them. I am glad the concert party picture arrived O.K., as I was afraid it was lost.

Clara seems to be busy most of the time. Is she quite well now?

Well My Dear, I want to write Gert Bosworth to-night and read a little. Don’t work too hard nor break too many watches while Dad is away.

Love to all,
Your loving brother,
Worth.
