Dear Mom,

This letter is going to be very short because things are beginning to move for Stewart and I, and we're busy getting ready for upcoming events. A change of scenery is coming up, so if you don't receive any letters from me for a little while, don't be too alarmed. This new move was not expected, but I guess we'll find it o.k.

I hope that you are keeping my letters, so that when I get home, I'll be able to read them again. I sent you some photos today. I hope they get there soon.

Now, due to very pressing matters, I must say a hurried farewell, since I've got a kit to pack. So long for now.

Love to all, Lewis
