Dear Pat

Just a line to let you know that I was thinking about you today and wishing I was back in Victoria.

I hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and I never wrote that just to be polite either.

I hope by this time that youve gotten hold of Johnny’s adress or that you have given Johnny my adress, one of the two.

We had rather a dull Christmas over here, all of us are broke so we couldnt [get?] drunk or anything like that.

Oh yes don’t forget that picture of yourself and also the picture of Johnny and Dorry, well anyway a picture of yourself.

Well I see its time for us to have our Christmas dinner, we don’t know what were having yet but the buzz is that its going to be turkey (I sure hope so) so I say good bye for now

Love
Lawrence.
