Dearest Pat.

You know Im beginning to worry about you. I havent recieved any mail from you for two months now and I dont know what to make of it. Ive written you six letters to you since Ive recieved any from you. I hope I havent done or said anything to hurt you because thats the last thing on earth that Id want to do.

Well, what do you think of the invasion. It was sure a lot of fun while it lasted but our end of it seems to be dieing down a bit But by Christmas I hope to be back in Canada again and I can truthfully say that I dont think there are very many Canadians who wont be glad to get back to Canada.

Well Pat dearest Ill have to say good bye for now but Ill be waiting for your next letter which will come soon I hope

Lots of Love
Lawrence
