Hello Scientific Buck,

Seems to me that the only scientific thing you’re doing these days is adding up your chips. I have the pictures taken at the school picnic and at Pender Island, you sure werent busting your back rowing that boat.

Am just listening to ‘Swing and Sway with Sammy Kaye’, or is it ‘Swing and Sweat with Charlie Barnett?”

What a war! You get paid 10 bucks a week for tossing bean bags. In my young days that was a parlor game.

Have just been up to see dose guy with dose hedge-clippers and got meself a first class fifteen franc ear-lowering. Reely neet.

Since this pen fell on its point it hasn’t been working so well.

We’re really getting the calories these days. At least 3 or 4 kinds of pie to choose from every lunch and supper time, as well as reverse lend-lease from China, namely rice. Only two weeks now till comes a weeks leave in England. I’ll be away like a [bulb?] to my popsies place in Mitcham.

Well don’t sling the bean bags too high.

Cheerio
Sandy
