Dear Bill:

Well I'am as slow as ever in answering your letter.

As you can see by this, I'm at home again. I arrived here on Thursday morning, Tom came here to breakfast and then caught the 9 A.M. train. Did you see him? I think he forgot to let you know when he was to pass your way.

It seems queer around here this Christmas without Theo or Joe.

The former leaves for England next month (he has a provisional lieut.cy in the Imperial Army).

We played the Victoria High on Tuesday of this week, the game resulted in another draw 6 - 6.

I went to the Rink last night with Jack (?). By the way, if you care to bring your skates when you come down you might have some fun there. But I don't know hardley one girl there. Vancouver is not any too exciting, but we should be able to do something.

Well Bill as I hope to see you soon I'll say no more but let me know when your coming.

With Best wishes for Xmas and Good Luck for the Coming Year.

I remain

Your Old Friend

John D. dePencier.
