Dear Mother,
I received your letter of March the 11th and was glad to hear from you and to know you are well. How is John geting along I wish I were home I am about feed up with out here. I hear Harry is over now I would like to see him. I was going up the road the other day and I ran into Bill Strickson its funny how many boys you meet over here and I seen that Mrs Tompson son you know the Tompson I mean the McRay Block people.
How does Jane feel about Harry being over here he got here in good time the winter is over now but being out here in the winter is awful the rain & snow and no place to get warm nobody know what it is like unless they have been throught it
I get lots of mail from Liverpool they send me a parcel every week they sure are good to me.
This is easter Sunday but Sunday is just the same as any other day out here this is the first chance I have had to write a letter for about ten days
You will have to use a new address on my mail the address now is just 22nd Battery. Canadian Field Artillery France. That is all it will find me alright dont worry
Well I think I have said all for this time so will have to say good bye
From your loven son
