Dear Mother
Just a line to let you know I'm well hopeing you and John are the same. I have just been Inoculated and have a sore arm but it will be alright in the morning. How is John geting along did he go to Winnipeg on the 24 of May and did he see the kids. We are haveing good weather over here but it never gets very warm here I thought France was a warmer country then what it is.
I had a letter from Mary Ellen. She always asks about you she is going to get a Picture taken and send one to you. I see Harry often he looks good and as a soft job, I can tell you. but the same as usual kicking all the time.
Well I will have to close for now as I have no more to say this time So Good bye
I remain your loven son
Owen
