Dear Mother and Father
I hope you are all still in good health as I still remain to be I am feeling pretty good now and the wound hardly ever bothers me at all The weather here is fine no rain at all and very hot and dusty but we expect the cold and wet weather to set in any day. I hope Auntie Kate is quite well and I send her my very best love and good wishes and the same to Alan and Alivena I hope my father likes Vancouver alright and is getting on fine and dandy I don’t see very many people I know just [?] as they all scattered all over. Well I hope to be home with you all soon and with best love to you all and especially to Mam
I remain your loving son
Willie
