Dear Mother

Just a few lines to let you know I am getting along O.K. I am able to go down town now and expect to go to a Convalescent Home soon. My wound is just about healed. The weather is very unsettled now. Showering every day. I had a letter from Geo Worthy a few days ago. Also one from Blanche.

Well news seems scarcer than ever so I must close.

Write Soon.

Goodbye

Charlie

It is 2 years today since we sailed from Montreal.
