Dear Mother :- Arrived safe last night about 11 o'clock was mighty tired and Sleepy but two boys in our tent had got in about half an hour before us and had our stove going so we were not cold. We were up at 5:30 this morning and went to the butts again We were in early in the forenoon and did not do anything before dinner I did not go to the mess tent untill supper I thought too much good stuff would not agree with me. I am saving the chicken untill to-morrow. I had some of Jacksons for breakfast so will divide up with him and Will. Our Batt. go to the Bombing school to-morrow. I don't know if I will have to go or not. We had a little exam in bayonet fighting this afternoon. I am writing this by a candle which is about done so will have to be brief. We have not got any further word about going away so will write you Sunday. Will Smith is up in our tent at present moment. His Bunch do not know when the go either So don't worry. The Candle is going out So good Bye for now
